A day late and many dollars short. Who knew that you’re probably sitting on millions of dollars. The sad truth is your 28 years to late. What are we talking about? The hard drive in your pc. Still confused? In 1981 the average cost per megabyte was $340. Now the average cost per megabyte is around $.0.0001. You can pick up a 1 terabyte hard drive on our products page for $110. Now the good part, if your had that $110 investment back in 1981 you would have a $356,515,840 hard drive. Very depressing isn’t it. Most college kids carry flash drives with them, who knew that’s $680,000 worth of plastic and electronics.

***Keyboard tip of the month***

Have an old keyboard that doesn’t have a Windows key. Press Ctrl and Esc it will bring up the Start menu.

The world's first gigabyte-capacity disk drive was made in 1981, this monster was the size of a refrigerator and weighed 550 lbs.

Hard drives have an average life expectancy of 5 years. So be sure to back up your data to a CD or DVD.

If you’re the tinkering type and you have an old useless hard drive, take it apart and take the magnets out and install them on your incoming water lines, it removes years of scale buildup in your pipes and hot water tank. Magnetized water will reduce bad effects of hard water and increase the Alkalinity and pH, as well as reducing Chlorine and free Chlorine. In under a week your skin should feel better and your hair should be easier to control. Another alternative is to give the magnets to the kids, have fun getting them off the refrigerator.
